Very first teacher day

Really enjoyed my day today, not because something big or whatsoever. Is because this is my first time going back to my previous school just to wish my former teachers a very "happy teacher day". Managed to find most of the teachers I wanted to find (except for one, but that's not really important) and had a good chat with them.

Somehow the return of ex-students have a greater impact than a student (in the eyes of the teacher), and mostly, they would be quite happy. I felt the same here, I'm happy that my return had made them happier.

Didn't get to take much (in fact, I only took two). But here it is:

This is SAMSUNG OMNIA!

What I like about it?

1. This phone is compatible with any/most contract
2. It has a 5MP camera (packed with auto focus, image stabilizer and so on...)
3. This is might sound lame, but it is MMS enabled
4. It's bluetooth is "friendly" to other bluetooth enabled phone (or devices)
5. This phone has Adobe Flash support!

This phone should be superb! Since phones that are lacking the above functions are extremely popular nowadays.

Skin Enhancement

YessssH! Completed the new design of my blog. Like I say, design... So I didn't use much of coding. Anyway, even if I wanna try using codes, I wouldn't be able to (the obvious reason is because I don't know...).

The first release (I'm trying to make it sound professional, pls bear with it) had some problems and thankfully, my friend, Zac, made my life easier by pointing out the problem. The current skin you see is the improved version with some corrections here and there.

Although I had fixed the header (at least that's what I think), there's still a similar problem at the bottom (so try avoid scrolling all the way down...). Would try use the same solution to solve the footer problem, but currently, no inspiration...

Oh ya, forgotten about a little walkthrough. Basically, the new-looking blog function like any other common blogger blog. The title at the header would be linked to the home (which is 1twos.blogspot.com). The "cross", also at the header, enables you to close my blog (if you think that Alt + F4 (Window) or Command + W (Macintosh) or pressing the default "close" button of the browser is boring).

Some possible add-on:

Left V.S. Right: Which is straight?

I just discuss the topic with Zac regarding "ear piercing, which side would means that you're straight and which would means that you are gay". Did some googling and had gotten back different results. Some sites said that if you pierced at the left ear, you're gay. Some said that on the right and some said on both sides...

Personally, I got my left ear pierced (like most Singapore teenage did). At first, I was kinda bothered on whether I got the piercing on the correct side (I'm kinda sensitive to how people think of me).

But now, I think that it's kinda funny to be even thinking of all this.
I mean... erm... We shouldn't let minor things such as ear piercing affect ourselves.
Therefore, DWUW! Do What U Want!

I'm not really a Nokia fan but since I'm stuck with a Nokia phone (replaced my old phone due to some reason), I must enhance it so that it's to my satisfactory level. Therefore, I went on my hunt for ways to make my phone better and make the remaining days (4 months) of the phone a fruitful one.

Ta~Da! After much effort, I found this site (from Nokia) that provides a great number of applications, graphics, themes, ringtones, and etc.

A Nokia user? Then no harm looking around.

Was browsing the net for information about the upcoming phone for Sony Ericsson and again, this phone had caught my attention.

Maybe I would start off by stating on what I want on my new mobile phone.

1. Must be able to support more than 2GB of memory card
2. Must have a good camera (at least 2 MP)
3. Allow me to customize and personalize the theme of the phone
4. Have a good quality music player
5. * This is important!* Need to have WiFi

Just FIVE important features. Not really demanding, right?

The reason why it caught my attention (beside being a Sony Ericsson phone) because it's what I required

Here's the specs of C905:

• Support more than 2GB of external storage (a 2GB M2 would be come together with the phone)
• CyberShot phone and therefore, better camera (8.1 MP Camera) *I believe this is the only phone that have a 8.1 MP camera*
  
• Since it's a Sony Ericsson phone, customizing the software design should not be a problem
• Most importantly, it's WiFi enabled!!!

Hopefully, when this phone reaches Singapore, the price would not be too outstanding. Even so... I may still consider buying.

Wow... A new high after a long low

Since start the start of Polytechnic, I had done less of public relation for my blog and therefore, I had a daily of 20+ visitors per day. I was kinda shocked to see that I had almost 80 unique visitors yesterday! Can't believe it right!?

Anyway, I found out that most of them was directed from my previous blog. Very interesting...

Money No Enough 2

For the title of the movie "Money no enough 2", we would know that it's a local production as the title itself depicts our Singapore unique language, Singlish...

Anyway, Money No Enough 2 should be a film that reflects the current situation (in Singapore) of the increased of living cost. But I couldn't see how creative Jack Neo (the director of the movie) could get in the movie.

Watching "Money No Enough 2" today and hope for some surprises, haha.

The "Holy"-Day

When back to school yesterday and realized that I had made a wrong choice of returning to it. At there, I was completely bored out and I couldn't figure how much bored I can get. Imagine that!

No wonder half of year 1 members didn't come for the meeting, and suckers like myself actually bothered to turn up...

SIngapore Birthday In a Day

Tomorrow would be Singapore 43rd birthday and many Singaporean would be extremely happy! It's not because of the birthday that makes Singaporean happy, it's the extra holiday that people are happy about. Kinda ironic, Singapore celebrating birthday and many Singaporean take this opportunity to get out of Singapore to take a break. Okay... Maybe some would celebrate...

For me? I'm those that's only interested in the performance that the Singapore National Day have. I believe that if we stripped off the performance, there would be an absolute zero people celebrating this special day.

OK, time to buy some popcorn to celebrate with Singapore!!!

So, what's next?

OK, it's holiday already and I can rest all I want, or can I?

The start of this holiday began with a KBox session at Jurong Entertainment Center. I enjoyed myself quite well on that day and looking forward to similar activities in the future.

Since I have 2 months (excluding this week), I would most likely be looking for something to do or to work. BTW, I shifting house soon and I might cancel all of my tuition. Therefore, I would need to earn as much as I can before I "retire".

Recently, I got myself some web designing to do. I believe that would occupy some of my time and earn me some cash at the same time.

Go on and take a break

It's finally holiday!!! My course is one of the few courses that have the holiday earlier as we do not need to take any common test. Therefore, 2 more weeks added to my 7 weeks holiday, making it 9 weeks!

I believe from this point of time till the end of the holiday, I would be pretty free... Therefore, I would trying my luck to see if anyone wants me to do some web designing for them. (But most probably, no one will)

Anyway, during my spare time, I had came out with my online portfolio. The design of the portfolio is an existing template in iWeb (an application from Apple that allow you to do web site without any knowledge of any programming languages).
