NS has become a liability in every sense of the word for the Singaporean male. Not only do we start our working life 2 years later than just about everybody else, but we are also saddled with a 10 year debt (through no fault of our own other than to be born male)...moreCame across this article and read it from top to toes and I personally agree to this article. Maybe the government in Singapore can do something about. But... will they?

Who Fights For the NSMan?
Light Speed
With a few snaps of the finger, it's already near to the end of the week. Basically, this would be a tiring week. Mostly because that's too many things to do after the holiday and I'm didn't really fully adjust myself to all the workload.
Had my programming quiz yesterday and I personally think it's quite easy, but unsure whether my result of the quiz would reflect my opinion.
After the quiz, there's about 4 hours more before our next lesson starts and therefore, one of us suggested to go play pool. That's my first time playing pool and got really noob at the start but did a little improvement towards the end. Pool is actually kinda fun...

Hardwork
Have been revising my ActionScript for these few days. Basically, Programming is the only module that I took that needs to revise.
I actually took some effort to study it and began to feel that whoever that cheat would be unfair to myself and it would be worse if I aid people to cheat, that's even much unfair to myself. Unfortunately, things do not go as planned. Guess this time round I would be a little selfish during the quiz.
Here's a tip:
The right way to get good result is to bear the equal amount of effort that's required for good grade.

Yeshhh!
I'm so darn happy yesterday! Finally, I was actually praised by my drawing fundamentals lecturer. Usually, my drawing would be in the "sucky" zone and I'm always very disappointed after every lesson of it. Not trying to be "thick-face", but I think I drew quite well for the body anatomy. (Drawing of female top torso, but that's not the point...)
At least I felt that there might be some hope left for me to do well in drawing... At least a slim one...
Wanna laugh? Watch it!

Revert back
I wonder what had gotten into me these few days, it's like my EMO level is steady increasing. Since yesterday, I had gotten back to a past memories and a rather painful one.
The foolish me thinking that I had gotten over it. Perhaps I had, but I'm completely clueless about how it when back.
The few songs on my blog are suggested by Teenage Magazine to help me pull through...

F-Number Installed
I'm in love with the software "Aperture" when I was first introduced during my CCA. This software allows us to do many adjustments to the photos that we had taken and together with its clean interface, it really makes nowadays photographer job more easy.

At the edge
In a few blinks of the eyes, it's finally near the end of my term break. Lots to expect from myself and therefore, provided myself with unnecessary stress. School start might not be always that bad as I can get to be a little busier and therefore, having lesser time to think of those negative things.
Anyway, didn't really get to enjoy my holiday. As mentioned, I'm always thinking about how do I get a better performance in school, what must I do so as not to get bored easily and many other things.
Suck to be me...

Fat Panda or Green Monster?
Going to watch movie later and I has yet to be informed on whether I would be watching "Kung Fu Panda" or "Incredible Hulk"... Anyway, either one would be fine for me.
I know! Since I would like to watch both, I shall watch "Kung Fu Panda V.S. Incredible Hulk". *hehe*
To be noted: There's no such movie, "Kung Fu Panda V.S. Incredible Hulk". Don't go to the cinema ticket counter and ask for such movie. *it would be embarrassing*

Window within Macintosh
*Let me start with a evil laugher*
Wuhahahahahaha! I'm finally gotta suppress Window XP and placed it into my Macintosh OS. You guys must have the immediate thought that I'm using Parallels (a software that allow user to run both Macintosh and Window together). Haha, that's when you're wrong. I went to do some research on whether is there a software that can provide better function (in compared to parallels) and found out that VMWare Fusion is one of the more recommended one (if you are on tight budget).
Wanna know more about Parallels or VMWaere Fusion?
Try googling it. *hehe*

Return Post
Here's the first proper post (in my perspective) that I'm going to write since my return from Malacca. Firstly, I would really like to express my disappointment on the recent trip to Malacca. Because the trip to Malacca was so-called a family outing, they're many argument, disagreement and rules to follow. *I hate rules* And that's the core different between a family outing and a friends gathering.
Today is the second day since I returned from Malacca and since I'm having my term break now, I took the opportunity to ask Zac out to do some shopping. It had been awhile since I'm accompanied by my friends for shopping as everyone seem to have their own life now. Too bad for me as I didn't make enough friends during secondary...
BTW, I got myself a haircut today. *quite happy with the result*
Going bankrupt soon!

Away From Singapore
Finally, the term break is here and I would be spending my first weekend of the holiday with my family (which consist of my parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles) at Malacca. Hope that I would have lots of fun there and really wished that my family members would not spoil the fun again.
Would update when return, see ya!

A Trip to SBG
"SBG" stands for "Singapore Botanic Garden"
When to SBG yesterday as my Digital Photomedia lesson would be held there. Met up with my friends first before going there (as I know I might get lost if I go there alone). In the end, we're late...
After a short brief, we went different paths to have our photos taken. Quite a tiring trip though...

Ladybug Taught Me
There's this ladybug that flew into my room as I was playing my computer game. I thought it's nice and took a shot of it. Anyway, it's kinda a rare sight to see such insect (especially in a Singapore flat). So, you must be wondering about my title.
The reason why I could take this photo is because it stayed there from quite sometime and I didn't know it's going to die... After it started flying, I noticed that it kept flying around, loosing it's sense of direction and banging on the walls of my room.
This taught me that no matter what happen, I must always be thinking logically. Without any sense of direction or proper planning, it's as good as banging your head against the wall and would result in undesirable consequences.
So, this is my Ladybug story.
